Operating Principle

Electromagnetic Pulse Technology (EMPT) is based on the physical law of Lorentz force, where varying magnetic fields induce eddy currents in surrounding electrically conductive materials, causing these materials to repel each other. In optimized machines, these forces can accelerate workpieces to speeds of up to 600m/s. Electromagnetic force can be used for welding, clamping, forming, cutting, and pressing of technical products with the highest quality requirements.
